Croeso i Danrhiw - Welcome to Tanrhiw, our charming, quirky holiday cottage in the centre of Criccieth, famed for it's castle in a stunning location on the Lleyn Peninsula near the majestic mountains of Snowdonia in north west Wales.

The cottage is only a short stroll from the beach, castle and high street in Criccieth.

The stunning Lleyn Peninsula rolls out into the Irish Sea off the north west corner of Wales. Much of the surrounding coastline and hills are part of a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. To the east is the Snowdonia National Park, with attractions for all weathers.

A car is not essential, but advisable. There is no parking immediately outside the property but within 10 metres there are about 10 parking spaces and 'pot luck' on the streets around the cottage. In 20 years of owning the property we have never had a problem parking.

Information for dog owners - there is no garden at the property for late night exercise, there are however ample grassy areas in town.

Covid update

You are advised to take out your own travel insurance to include cancellation in respect of having to isolate due to positive covid testing as refunds are not made in this regard.
Should cancellation occur due to ‘lockdown’, full refund in respect of monies paid will be made.
