Set in an elevated enviable position on the edge of this highly popular Lakeland village, Heron Beck is within easy walking distance of Grasmere Village centre (10 minutes).

The short stroll brings you into the heart of Grasmere village with a fine array of tea rooms and shops, and a range of places to eat from local bistros to traditional village pubs, and the Michelin-starred Forestside just a couple of minutes walk from the property.

Walks abound in this central part of the Lake District.

There are gentle rambles along the lakeshore and up Easedale or you can head higher onto the fells; Fairfield, Helvellyn and Helm Crag are accessible from the door.

You enter the accommodation into a spacious hallway, along with a Double Bedroom with En-Suite Shower, WC and Basin awaits. In addition, there is also a separate WC which is set off the hall. Taking the stairs to the first floor and the wonderful light, bright and spacious open plan Lounge/Dining Room and Kitchen.

The double glass sided, centrally located log burning stove makes the perfect feature to curl up and relax in front on those cold winter days. Sit on one of the various comfortable sofas and enjoy a film on the large smart TV.

The fell views from the large lounge windows are exceptionally and French doors leading onto the patio, with boutique garden furniture. The dining area is for enjoying that delicious meal or indeed planning the day’s events. The kitchen carries all modern day appliances and houses a central island, high quality electric hob, double oven, large American style fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine and washer/drier. You will find everything you need to cook a hearty breakfast which will set you up for a day in the fells.
