Paradise in the vines

By Peter and Jan Davies on 21-May-2022

This was our 6th visit to La Baumette and we have never been disappointed. Its location provides easy access to both shops and many excellent restaurants. The hamlet is really quiet and with vines everywhere, a wonderful place to walk. The house is very spacious and spread out with a big kitchen. The large swimming pool is brilliant always heated and well looked after. There are plenty of vineyards to visit and are within easy distance. The owners have the house next door, and are always extremely helpful and have made great efforts to make the garden very attractive. We come back for the relaxed way of life, the lovely weather and the interesting scenery. It’s always difficult to leave.

Many relaxing holidays

By Alan on 21-Aug-2019

What a relaxing vacation! Surrounded by vineyards, pool at your doorstep, and the sound of cicadas. The house is set up perfectly for a family vacation or a group of good friends. I especially loved sitting at the outdoor table by the barbecue having dinner and playing games while also being able to chat with people in the pool. Nicky and Steve are excellent hosts, they even brought us fresh figs when they checked in to see if everything was ok. I have to say, staying in La Beaumette is so relaxing. Mornings were spent swimming, afternoons driving or cycling to taste wine at the many Domains in the surrounding area, and evenings by the barbecue having a great local rose.
