Seashells Cottage is a 2 bedroom detached holiday cottage that comfortably sleeps four people. Located at The Bay, Filey - an award-winning 5* holiday village on the stunning North Yorkshire coast. Just a short walk to the sandy beach. No pets please.
Private parking for one car directly at the front of the cottage, our private EV charger is available to guests to use for a small fee.
You enter the cottage into a large hallway with a W/C. A door leads to the comfortable open plan lounge with 2 sofas, log burner, 55'' Sky Glass Smart TV with Sky Sports, Netflix, Disney+ etc and free super-fast fibre wifi. The dinning area with table and 4 chairs leads to a well equipped modern kitchen. French doors open to a south facing rear garden with patio, table and chairs, BBQ and grass lawn. The perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach! Please borrow our buckets and spades, nets and body-boards stored at the side of the cottage.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin single beds that can comfortably sleep children or adults. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage and Sky TV. They also have blackout blinds and ceiling fans to aid a good night's sleep. There is also a large family bathroom with bath/shower.
The cottage will be prepared for you with fresh bed linen and freshly laid out towels. A travel cot and high chair are also available.
There is lots to do for both children and adults at The Bay holiday village, all within a very short walk of the cottage. You are given a leisure pass which gives you free access to the heated indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room, and the gym. On site there is also a pub/restaurant, cafe, shop, games room, football pitch, tennis court, basketball, table tennis, boules courts and children's play area. The Bay also offers many bookable activity sessions such as archery and kids crafts, most of which incur an extra cost.
Just a short walk through the holiday village there is direct access down to 5 miles of sandy beach! Walk 30 minutes along the beach in one direction and you will reach the unspoilt traditional seaside town of Filey. Walk in the other direction and you pass the beachside cafe and reach the stunning Bempton Cliffs - home to puffins and other seabirds at certain times of the year. Scarborough, Cayton Bay, Bridlington and Flamborough Head are a short drive away. Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, York and the North York Moors are all easy day trips.
