The cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring the Dart river and Devon coastal walks. It's in a lovely spot, high up and overlooking the water with views to the hills beyond. The cottage is clean and well-equipped and is perfect for either a short break or a longer stay. For a small village, Dittisham has a lot going on and 2 Rock Cottages is right in the heart of it, close to the church and pub with its well-stocked shop. Wonderful walks around the village too. Loved it.
We have just spent a wonderful week here. First off communication was easy with the owners. It was easy to find and parking no problem. The house was cosy, spotlessly clean and very well equipped and appointed. There were only two of us in a two bedroom house so perfect really. The bedrooms also very well dressed and the main bedroom has wonderful views of the estuary which you can’t really ever become bored of! There is a pub come shop come post office one hundred yards away which will get you out of any fix and Dartmouth just down the road which is beautiful town. We are keep walkers and found Dittisham surrounded with walks so for us the was just perfect.
My Family had a lovely stay at no2 Rock Cottage. There is so much to do in the surrounding area our two young boys loved it. woodlands family theme park less than 10 mins away, beautiful Blackpool sands beach less than 20mins away, short drive to river dart country park, Becky falls, Dartmouth harbour, and so much more. it was lovely to come home to Rock cottage to relax. The cottage was so clean and spotless and has everything provided like home from home. Dittisham is beautiful little village with stunning views riverside walks and lovely pubs. Would highly recommend Rock Cottage to any thinking on staying in south Devon.
