This area is attractive to visitors all year round with Devon, Dorset and Dartmoor surrounding us and many lovely villages along the Jurassic coastline to discover.

Longer term lets are available throughout the Winter months at a much reduced rate to holiday let prices.

. Sandy beach walks can be enjoyed at low tide ( dog friendly areas all year round) and the Byes riverside walk from Sidford to the town and beach is the jewel in Sidmouth’s crown and loved by all.

HoneyPot Cottage is situated in a peaceful location within the traditional Devon village of Sidford. Very convenient for bus routes to Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Exeter and Honiton which has excellent railway links.

Sidford has pubs within walking distance (dog friendly), an award winning restaurant, fish & chip shop & spar store, also, a hairdresser, and a vet all close by.

From the village it is a 1.5 mile walk along the beautiful National Trust 'Byes' river walk to Sidmouth ( welcoming to dogs all year round). The beach is dog friendly from 1st October -1st May…smaller areas of the beach being available through summer months).

This area of outstanding natural beauty has a wealth to offer visitors especially the Jurassic coastline and a diversity of historic towns, both villages of Branscombe and Beer and the famous donkey sanctuary are close by. There are endless coastal drives and walks with stunning views.
