We've just had a weekend in the cottage and had a wonderful stay, it's the perfect accomodation, it has everything you need, it's like home from home, it's very well laid out and is very comfortable and super clean, it's in the perfect location for shops, bars, restaurants and the railway station, it's so easy to get out and about from the cottage. The outside Terrace is a lovely space, we sat out there for breakfast, it's a lovely quiet and relaxing area. We enjoyed staying there so much,we didn't want to leave. We didn't meet Caroline and Michael, but communication by text/email and phone was first class, they are very accommodating and you couldn't wish for nicer hosts. We will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
We booked up last minute for our stay in Dawlish and chose this lovely cottage. Lots of nice touches from the owners and a perfect location for pubs, restaurants and the train station. Clean and warm. Would recommend.
Beautiful little cottage. Perfect location, tucked off the high street, which is one way and not over busy. Has a lovely decked area, accessed by steps, which got the afternoon sun. Great directions and contact from the owners and was easy to find. It may be compact but for 2 people it is just right. Welcome letter with information left on the side for us plus a pint of milk, 2 small bottles of water and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. The stairs are original cottage ones and are therefore a little steep but there is a solid hand rail on the wall. Lovely comfortable bed and plenty of clothes hangers on the rail unit. Although we did not cook any meals, the kitchen has all that you would need. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Perfect for relaxing.
