Multigenerational family holiday at Ferry View in late august. The house is well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. The location is absolutely cracking a few minutes if that walk into town and a fantastic view from all three levels of the house which we enjoyed every day. We also enjoyed strolling up to the castle from the house, and also popping down the steps in front of us to reach the benches by the waterfront (in all of a minute) and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun. We arrived on the Saturday of the regatta and it was easy with the parking permit provided in the property to park in the park-and-ride, and then after the regatta had finished the parking with the permit in town was very easy and convenient. Sarah was an absolutely brilliant host with excellent comms and very helpful. We will be back!!
Ferry View didn't disappoint with its elevated position overlooking the river, Kingswear and beyond, but close enough to everything that Dartmouth has to offer. Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and sofas. Hot water aplenty, snug and warm. Peaceful, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, nicely decorated and has everything you need to have a very enjoyable stress free holiday. Loved looking out of the bay window watching the ferry come and go especially at night when Kingswear lights reflect off the river. Managed to park right outside front door, although a parking permit was provided for carpark a few minutes walk away. Sarah was extremely helpful, and we would highly recommend this perfect haven and hope to return soon.
Amazing cottage Had a fantastic family holiday in Dartmouth, cottage in a fantastic location and very clean, host was very welcoming and had all the answers to questions we had, Would recommend this cottage to anyone to stay at.
