Description
The Dutch barn is a recently converted luxury, dog friendly holiday cottage with a Jacuzzi hot tub. The barn sleeps up to 8 adults plus cots. All bedrooms are en-suite, and there will be no fighting for the best bedroom as they are all equipped to the same level.
During peak season the barn will only be offered for full occupancy. During quieter periods we are happy to offer discounts for lower bedroom occupancy.
We offer a 10% nhs discount, please get in touch if you want to book.
Sustainability is at the heart of the design and all the heating, hot water and electrical facilities are powered by solar power or though our biomass boiler that uses a renewable source of wood pellets. All rooms have underfloor heating.
The barn's living accommodation is arranged on the first floor and can sleep up to 8 adults in four en-suite bedrooms. The usual layout is two double rooms and two twin rooms, however we can join the twin beds together on request. All bedrooms have a dedicated smart TV with sky glass. The barn has complimentary ultra fast wifi too.
All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom. Three of the bathrooms have a bath with overhead power shower. The fourth bathroom has a bath and a separate spacious walk in shower.
The barn benefits from an open plan L-shaped living area with a wonderful vaulted ceiling and exposed glulam beams. The main room comprises of a large table, a large sofa, 55” sky glass TV with Netflix, XBOX One, Bluetooth Speaker, Wood burning Stove and two sets of fully opening bi-fold doors.
A large opening leads from the living area into the kitchen, which is spacious and has lovely views across the valley. It's well specified with a large range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer and ice maker. There is a breakfast bar with a couple of stools. There is a separate utility room off the lounge where you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Accessed from the bi-fold doors and one of the bedrooms, is a 40 foot long terrace. The terrace has a gas barbecue (subject to the time of year), large dining table, views across the farm to the Atlantic ocean and a large jacuzzi hot tub.
As with all the cottages and barn conversions, guests have use of a large lawned recreation area, boules court, games room with pool table and table football and access to the 18 acres of farm land.
