Considerable recent updating gives visitors to Wellwood Lodge a superior self-catering experience for up to 14 guests in six large bedrooms and 2 travel cots taking maximum occupancy numbers to 16. It is possible to have 12 single occupancy beds with two of the king size beds being zip and link, all double beds are king size.
A recently installed bespoke handcrafted oak staircase rises through the heart of the house to the six spacious and tastefully-decorated bedrooms with four bath/shower rooms. One room has a lovely dressed 4 poster bed with en suite shower room.
A huge 31ft lounge offers a wonderful space for gathering together. 2017 heralded a new fireplace with surrounds sympathetic to the age of the house. The living flame gas fire enhances the overall effect together with freshly plastered walls and ceiling. Newly laid wooden flooring adds a touch of sophistication and chic to the room.
The fully-fitted kitchen leads to a Victorian-style conservatory and dining room with square table that seats 12 to 14 making it the perfect setting for celebratory feasts.
Unlimited broadband wi-fi is accessible throughout the property.
Kitchen & Conservatory
The well equipped kitchen has ample work surfaces and storage, an electric Neff oven, grill and microwave, a range style 6 burner gas hob over 2 additional electric ovens with grills, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There are pots, pans, Panasonic bread maker, a Kenwood chef, Kenwood commercial food processor and every utensil to make light work of food preparation.
The kitchen leads through to a Victorian style conservatory with sitting area and door to rear garden.
Living Areas
Very spacious lounge, with coal effect gas fire, 42 inch TV, DVD player, iPod & iPhone compatible docking Speaker, CD and radio player, leather lounge seating for everyone to sit in comfort. Occasional tables and lamps add to the ambience, such a great space for entertaining!
Dining room, seating for 12/14 around a 90 x 90 inches table, graced with white contemporary crockery. We have added a 32 inch lazy susan to add to the fun of reaching your condiments etc, and is also popular for self-invented games, the opportunities are endless!

The house is approached by an inclined path with hand rail. The double garage roof serves as a morning sun patio. Although the rear garden is fully enclosed small children and dogs should be supervised. There is a chippings base patio with tables and chairs, 3 steps to lawned area of approx 60 sq metres and shrub borders at a slightly elevated level.
