Beachbreak is a beautifully decorated Cornish family home, situated a few easy steps from two of North Cornwall’s finest surfing and bathing beaches.

With bright and spacious rooms throughout, Beachbreak provides the perfect setting to enjoy award-winning Bude, whilst relaxing in comfort alongside the Atlantic Ocean.
With plenty of private parking and a safe garden area for young children, this is the perfect holiday home for families or a group of friends.
Being situated just a few meters from the sands and surf of Crooklets beach, the golf course and cliff walks, Beachbreak particularly appeals to surfers, golfers and hikers alike. The shops, pubs and restaurants of Bude are also all just a short walk away. Guests of Beachbreak particularly enjoy the ability to make the most of the elements in its ideal location. When there is a beautiful sunset they embrace it and walk to their favourite viewpoint to enjoy it. If it is sunny they walk to the beach and come back when the clouds roll over. They go for late swims and impromptu barbecues on the beach when the wind suddenly drops. If the surf is looking good they jump in for anything from a few minutes to a few hours, be it first light or the last of the ‪evening sun.‬ Beachbreak's proximity to the beach is what makes this possible, reacting to the weather and surf to truly make the most your holiday. When staying at Beachbreak guests relish not having to plan their days, they to do whatever seems right on the day as the best things are usually right on your doorstep.


Ground Floor:

Easy access from the driveway straight into the porch and light flooded hallway. Accessed from the hallway, the living room is centred around a stylish wood burner effect stove to keep the area feeling cosy even at the coldest times of the year. The sitting area has a couple of comfortable sofas and armchairs spaced around the room. The hallway leads onto a spacious open plan kitchen and dining room, which occupies the width of the house at the rear. The french windows in the dining area open out onto the decked area of the garden. Between the kitchen diner and the living room is a wet-room bathroom comprising a walk-in shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Upper Floor:

The wooden spindled staircase leads upstairs to a master king bedroom with TV, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single room and a family bathroom.

The spacious master bedroom can comfortably accommodate a travel cot if needed. A travel cot can also be set up in the small single bedroom, which is next to the master bedroom.

The monochrome family bathroom is equipped with a bath, overhead shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.


There is plenty of outside space in the form of three purpose-built areas. To the side of the property is a spacious decked area, complete with table and chairs, providing an ideal spot for al fresco dining. The decked area leads onto a secure artificial grassed lawn area which is perfect for children to play whatever the weather. To the back of the property, there is a dedicated drying area perfect for crisping off wetsuits and clothes in the sunshine after enjoying the beach and surf close by.


At Beachbreak there is a large gated driveway to comfortably fit three cars. There is also additional parking on the street next to the property.

The keys can be collected from a secure key safe at the property.


WIFI is available throughout the property.

There is central heating throughout the house and a gas stove in the living room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. An iron and ironing board are provided.

All bed linen is provided as well as one bath towel per person and a hand towel in each bathroom. If you require beach towels please bring these with you.


Arrival and departure is on a Friday.

Short breaks are available outside of peak dates on request.

The optimum number of guests is 4 in total (including infants) and no stag, hen or other parties.

Spacious house

Ted's place was amazing! It is very spacious with a lovely garden. it is very clean and can accommodate comfortably a large number of people/family. Ted was easy to communicate and very helpful! we enjoyed your stay and we would definitely go back.

Gem of a place

Fantastic house with everything you can want. A few minutes from beaches and restaurants and excellent coastal walks. We really got lucky finding this gem of a place! Clean, large and modern - excellent house! The host was very responsive and check in and out was a breeze!

Ted & Shirley were absolutely fantastic hosts. Extremely accommodating and highly insightful as to what which suggested areas we could eat, drink & visit in the Bude area. The property was immaculate and perfect a place to stay after a long day on the beach, golf course or costal walk - thanks again for making our trip so memorable.
