We will definitely be back!

By Anna on 06-Sep-2021

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at The Barn at Wylde Goose. There are 9 of us, so it can be difficult to find a place big enough that is of a high standard but this is such a beautiful barn renovation in lovely surroundings that had everything we could have needed. Tara and Tom had really thought about everything when doing this up. There was plenty to do in the area so we had a great mix of spending time relaxing at the Barn and going out for long walks / visiting nearby towns. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely place for a family staycation

By Liz on 14-Aug-2021

The Barn - what a lovely place for a family staycation. After our holiday abroad was cancelled we looked for a weeks holiday in the UK and the barn did not disappoint. On arriving we got the wow factor from the moment we walked in and we instantly felt like we were on holiday. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms which our 4 children loved. There is a huge family kitchen with a breakfast bar and living area and it’s easy to cook and entertain at the same time. The location of the Barn is perfect for those wanting to visit all the surrounding tourist attractions, one been Alton Towers which we did on two occasions. It’s just a 15min drive on the country lanes. Leek is also a stones throw away and we enjoyed a walk in to the town and had a lovely pub lunch. There is a lot to do. We also hired a hot tub which was recommended by the owners of the barn. This was set up and ready for us to use prior to us arriving and we would definitely recommend hiring one.

WOW - what an incredible place.. amazing views, great location and incredible facilities. We were lucky enough to be the first guests in the house since the renovation and it was amazing. They have done an incredible job and in the area you will be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. We look forward to coming back soon. Thanks
